Photography on Gift Items Home Base E-mail us High in the Peruvian Andes, a Inca Spiritual Messenger named Willaru Huayta first taught me about the Inka perspectives on the law of mechanicity and how it hampers us from accessing spirit. Willaru said in a lecture given in Peru that "It takes much love to do the work of cleaning the inner temple, and to live in a conscious, spiritual way, not in a mechanical way." He talked about another race of people on the Moon a long time ago… Mamanchakila is grandmother Moon. When she was living, she used to have people like us there. They became divorced from the Father/Mother, and while they were a very organized civilization, they were not civilized. It is very important to know that. They looked civilized. They were well organized, everything going according to a plan. The Ascended Masters called them mechanical creatures. They were living every day, all day long but only in a mechanical, intellectual way. At the end, they could not support life, because the mechanical life is very hard. What Willaru was saying was if we continue to live in a mechanical way we will limit our life, bit by bit, choice by choice until there is no life left. We limit our possibilities to grow and evolve. I learned a lot about limitation and living mechanically watching my mother in her last years. If she ate a food that did not agree with her, she never ate it again. If she got tired when she went out, she quit going out as much and then not at all. One negative experience lead to another until she was a prisoner of her own programming and habits. She did not allow any new solutions to problems or issues other than those stamped with the seal of approval from her past experiences. She kept smoking in sprite of the fact she had emphysema. Pot roast had a positive experience imprint on it so she kept eating red meat even though she suffered from a series of heart attacks. She was resistant to breaking out of any mechanical habit she had in fear she might upset the status quo. So she lived her last years closed in a self imposed prison based on past experiences. This ultimately ended her life much sooner than need be. "He that never changes his opinions,
never corrects his mistakes, will never be wiser on the morrow than he is today." - Tryon Edwards On the other hand I know an amazing woman who was 10 years older than my mother was still in a open frame of mind. She came to Mexico with one of my groups and climbed all over pyramids with us. Her vocabulary didn’t included "I can’t". Just being in her presence we felt more alive. This women even healed herself of cancer just by changing her mind about it. She was a inspiration to our group and to me. Some how she knew how to live open and conscious, not living mechanically by past experience. She did not limit her possibilities to new paths in life. Some will take mechanicity to the extreme. Mechanicity is usually conformed to out of the need to be comfortable. A man I knew was afraid to tell the truth because it meant he would have to face himself and open himself to other possibilities. His daily routines were incredibly rigid and limited his life for anything new to show up. In relationship, he spun glossy stories and played psychological games using spiritual concepts to justify his life. It was the first time I witness someone that used spiritual concepts to keep himself asleep! In the 40+ years he never had a relationship that lasted over 6 months. None of his closest friends really know the truth about who he was, or what is really going on in his life. "The truth knocks on the door and you say, 'Go away, I'm looking for the truth,' and so it goes away. Puzzling..." - Robert Pirsig If life does not give us enough boundaries or limitations we may go out and look for more ways to limit ourselves. Some even make a career out of it. Example … another person I knew used fear based propaganda to build a safe haven for himself. No matter if the conspiracy was true or not, it gave him reason to lock himself up and not live fully. Never mind his many talents and intelligence, he was so afraid of making a mistake that he built a impenetrable cage around himself. The idea of choice, living conscious and empowerment became so overwhelmingly fearful that he literally became the walking dead while thinking he was breaking boundaries by believing in controversial subjects. "Only those who will risk going too far
can possibly find out how far one can go." - T. S. Eliot When I was a little girl, I was anemic and was subject to painful iron shots. My mom rewarded me after a doctor visit with McDonalds. I always ordered a hamburger, fries and small orange soda. When grew up every time I felt ill, I wanted McDonalds to recover. Even after my mind knew McDonalds was not healthy food for me, my mechanicity and need to be comforted was overwhelming. I equated a hamburger with feeling better and for a long time it was the only food that I wanted to eat after being sick. This limited almost 100% of the food available to me when I was recovering from a simple cold. Also at the same age, I was lost in blissful ecstasy while eating a Baskin Robins chocolate mint ice cream cone (my favorite obsession at the time) when I discovered a family pet that had died. I don’t think I ever ate another chocolate mint cone again. So you see just with these 2 memories, I have limited myself. I got over them both! Mechanicity comes in many forms, from very complicated life programs down to simple ones like why we love jelly donuts or cringe at the smell of a certain flower. The older we get, the easier it is to become fenced in with our habits and choices. We all love our boundaries and limitations. Our mechanicity makes or lives very net and tidy, appearing to be civilized, but as Willaru suggests… it is not a conscious way to live. So if we are only eating peanut and jelly sandwiches in the arms of good ol mom, maybe we need to look at our habits and patterns to see where we are stuck and not allowing sprit to work with us. If we are feeling stuck, disconnected from God and lonely, maybe breaking free from some of our repeating programs, mechanical behavior would help us begin a new path. "The man who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been." Alan Ashley - Pitt According to Willaru we are all born equal and have the same possibilities born with about 3% of awake consciousness. How we live our lives and the choices we make, will determine how successful we will become in any endeavor we choose. The Mind is logical. Spirit is organic. Logic comes from our personal learning in this life. Spirit comes from all life and unlimited potential. Since we have lived limited personal experience in this life we can only decide from limited options with our minds. When we open to spirit, we can expect new and creative solutions. Here we enter a world of unlimited potential. Breaking habits may not be as easy as it sounds. First there is no way I could contain in this short article all the tools we would need to access all our habits. But I hope this simplistic jump start will to get us going in the right direction. Second remember it takes much love to do the work of cleaning the inner temple. Habitual monsters will raise their ugly heads when we begin to clear out our lives of mechanical behavior. It may not be a comfortable undertaking at first. It is going to take some courage and self love to break free and become "Alive" as Willaru puts it. Family and friends will also find issues with our breaking the status quo. They to are mechanical and like us just the way we are. Once we begin to break habits we also begin to overcome the uncomfortable feelings we have about change. Just remember Fear is just excitement of the unknown. There are some simple things we can do to begin to become free of mechanicity. · Make a list of your habits, likes and dislikes, why you feel comfortable doing one thing, and not the other… etc. · Examine even your good habits and ask yourself are they limiting your life to even better experiences. · Also look at breaking stereo type patterns. Judgments in educational levels, social status, culture, race and religion is collective mechanical thinking. · Examine the motivation for each habit ~ learn to expect the unexpected. Now here come the adventuresome part… · Each day change one of these habits. · Do something every day that didn’t work for you in the past ~ today it just might work. · Drive to work by a different road ~ explore your world. · Eat a new food every day ~ or eat food you thought you didn’t like. You might love it today. · Go to a new place for vacation. If you like the mountains ~ try the beach · Explore a different spiritual practice. · If you are a perfectionist ~ get sloppy. If your a slob ~ clean up. · If you fall of the horse ~ get back on it. Keep on, Keeping on. Are you getting the picture here??? Just remember spirit works with those who help themselves. As you explore your world, spirit will open more and more doors for you to explore. Ralph Waldo Emerson said "Do not be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better. What if they are a little course, and you may get your coat soiled or torn? What if you do fail, and get fairly rolled in the dirt once or twice. Up again, you shall never be so afraid of a tumble". Aluna Joy Yaxk'in is an internationally known speaker, author, clairvoyant. It is this connection to our Spirit and God that is one of the most important things for us to get and we live in a system that is very challenging and not at all user friendly. Did you remember to bring the manual when you came to the planet ? And, do you have an extra copy? Keep up the great work! Ed Moen Dear Aluna Joy, I've been healing from a physical challenge which took me to the hospital this time. I had no insurance since I left the corporate world. I'm writing a book about fear, and when I finally received the total and still mounting bill which was in the thousands, I told God that if he/she wanted me to focus on the book and complete it, I needed help with the bills. I discovered that I could apply for financial assistance through the hospital, and did. I gave them all the information they asked for. Amazingly enough, I met their criteria and the bills were taken care of for me. Not only am I healing and continuing on the book, I realized that the years I had a high paying job and benefits, I was tight with money and could not be too free with the abundance I had. After I quit to pursue my personal truth and work, I had a very hard time with abundance - was even more fearful with money, and all the time, I had what I needed, really. I had choices I couldn't see because of my limitation beliefs. I know that part of my physical challenge became my wake up call to take a different course of action and release old limiting programs. Thank you so much for your message. It blazed a path directly to my heart!
