A Return to Paradise
How do we reclaim paradise? How do we manifest Shambala?
Aluna Joy Yaxkin - www.AlunaJoy.com - Jan-Feb 2008
On January 01, I could already see that 2008 was proving to support the light workers in more profound ways than year's past. Numerologists say that 2008 is a 1 year, and a year of new beginnings. The Star Elders say 2008 is the year that we finally make the shift of the ages . . . a whole four years earlier than first expected.
The Star Elders say this is the year that we have the opportunity to reclaim Paradise that was lost so many eons ago. It is the year that all our hard work in the Light of Truth will be rewarded. It is time for us to reclaim our Power, our Light, and Manifest fully our true authentic selves. It is the year that our impeccability, truth, love, peace, harmony, and deep sense of unity will be supported and manifested in profound ways. Because you see, I have a dream.
We are the bridges between all the cultures of the Earth. We are the unification of all the religions. We are the harmony between all social, economic, and spiritual classes. We are the ones that shift the negative projections of the collective consciousness into a positive reality. We are the ones that have held firm to the dreams and visions of a Promised land . . . a return to Paradise based upon love and planetary brother & sisterhood. We are the ones that choose to counterbalance and shift once and for all, the fear-based prophecies running amok throughout the unconsciousness of so many people. We are the ones that rewrite history. It is funny when you think about it this way . . . We are the ones that we have been waiting for. We are our own ancestors returned.
The Ascended Masters say we have a tendency to give up just as we are about to gain victory over the atrocities of the world and the limitations our egos. So today we ask you to stand up inside of yourself and don't give up. Hold strong to the vision that Earth and humanity will become a shining star of the universe. Because . . . We are the ones that will be known as the brilliant, fearless ones. Because the Promised Land, Paradise, Shambala are not just a dream, but a vision that is to be realized. It can and will be manifested . . . because I have a dream, and I have seen paradise in our future. But my vision stands in great company.
If we were able to pick any time in history to be, where would you be? Dr. Martin Luther King, if he was still with us, would have picked TODAY! His words still ring true today just as they did on April 03, 1968 in Memphis, Tennesee, when Dr. King, from his last speech titled "I See The Promised", said these powerful words:
As you know, if I were standing at the beginning of time, with the possibility of general and panoramic view of the whole human history up to now, and the Almighty said to me, "Martin Luther King, which age would you like to live in?"-- I would take my mental flight by Egypt through, or rather across the Red Sea, through the wilderness on toward the promised land. And in spite of its magnificence, I wouldn't stop there. I would move on by Greece, and take my mind to Mount Olympus. And I would see Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Euripides and Aristophanes assembled around the Parthenon as they discussed the great and eternal issues of reality. But I wouldn't stop there. I would go on, even to the great heyday of the Roman Empire… But I wouldn't stop there. I would even come up to the day of the Renaissance, and get a quick picture of all that the Renaissance did for the cultural and esthetic life of man. But I wouldn't stop there. … Strangely enough, I would turn to the Almighty, and say, "If you allow me to live just a few years in the second half of the twentieth century, I will be happy." Now that's a strange statement to make, because the world is all messed up. The nation is sick. Trouble is in the land. But I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough, can you see the stars. And I see God working in this period of the twentieth century in a way that men, in some strange way, are responding--something is happening in our world. The masses of people are rising up. And wherever they are assembled today, whether they are in Johannesburg, South Africa; Nairobi, Kenya: Accra, Ghana; New York City; Atlanta, Georgia; Jackson, Mississippi; or Memphis, Tennessee--the cry is always the same--"We want to be free."...
Let us rise up tonight with a greater readiness. Let us stand with a greater determination.... Let us develop a kind of dangerous unselfishness. ... And let us move on in these powerful days, these days of challenge to make America what it ought to be. We have an opportunity to make America a better nation.
… I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the promised land… But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people will get to the promised land. And I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.
So how do we get to the promised land? How do we reclaim paradise? How do we manifest Shambala? The answer to this question is not what you would expect, but it will take fearlessness, courage, surrender and sacrifice. We have come to the time where we need to sacrifice our suffering, lose attachment to our dramas, and surrender our addictions to lack of any kind. Yes, I know it sounds easy to do, but when we are face to face with Paradise, will we be able to let it in?
If we are cautious about loving fully because we are afraid will be hurt, then paradise will allude us. If we hold tight to our abundance, because we fear we will not have enough, our limitations will prevail. Whatever excuse we might justify in our minds, you must also know that in spirit there is no excuse for living with less than your outright destiny. Our destiny is living a life our heart calls us to live, and to shine the brilliant light that we are to the world. There is no excuse to hold back. As Dr. King said, let us develop a kind of dangerous unselfishness. Let us put aside our personal suffering, dramas, and the feeling of lack. It is time for us all to see the vision of the future. This vision is the one that we create every day, with every action, thought and motivation. Dr. King had the courage to see the promised land. Now it is our turn to manifest the vision of paradise.
In honor of one of history's great, positive visionaries . . . Dr. Martin Luther King.
